Webcleverlikeme • 7 yr. ago. I haven't seen guanfacine abused personally, that I know of, but I have seen clonidine. It's rare, but it happens. Not sure the specifics except that it has additive CNS effects with other more potent drugs, so I'm guessing that was the utility of it.
