WebJust a warning, Cornell definitely wants you to take a graded FWS. I initially put all 5 of my choices in the ballot as WRIT 1370 and got an email from Cornell saying that they strongly advised me against taking the class because they thought I was capable of handling a graded FWS instead. WebTypically your FWS instructor encourages you to meet with people at the Knight Institute or submit your work. My understanding is that WRIT classes are for those with very little experience writing in English or producing academic prose. Double check this, but I'm pretty sure those are need-based courses that are alternatives to a conventional FWS.
